The Amarillo Business Women board members serve on a voluntary three year maximum term. The board makes up a variety of different industries and talents that come together to lead a professional group of women in the workforce. They are also active members of our community and serve in many different leadership roles.

Tiffany Sharpensteen

Tiffany is an Assistant Vice President Branch Manager for FirstBank Southwest.

 

She graduated from West Texas A&M with a B.S. in Advertising/Public Relations. She has worked in the financial industry for over 13 years.

 

Tiffany received the Most Valuable Leader award from her peers in the CU Leadership Academy in 2019.

 

Tiffany and her husband, A.J., have a 6 year old son and are also foster parents to 4 year old boy.

Scholarship Chair - Angie Grimm  

Angie is a College Funding Specialist with a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska. She is the principal advisor of College Solutions LLC. and works with students to make an informed educational decision to pursue their educational goal. She also assists parents in setting up a solid financial plan with no unnecessary risk to meet the upcoming expense of college for their student.  

Angie has researched and developed an extensive knowledge about the college financial aid system, benefiting our clients with advice and strategies that most parents don’t think about or have access to when saving for and paying for college. She  has worked with students and families for over 11 years in maximizing the college admission and financial aid process.

Angie resides in Amarillo with her husband, Mike and their 2 children.  

Community Engagement, Marketing & Publicity  - Trinity Dennis

Trinity is a former computer programmer/marketing specialist and  is now the Co Director of the America United Pageant, a community service national pageant. AU provides a  national platform to help women get their message to a larger audience, help promote and find donors for charities, learn skills including public speaking and  interview and  network with women from all over the USA to promote charities, causes and businesses.

Trinity is a member of The Office of the Texas Governor, Greg Abbott's Child Sex Trafficking Team and has been licensed by Unbound Waco to present "Keeping Students Safe" trafficking awareness and prevention presentation.  She received a  "Yellow Rose of Texas" from Governor Abbott for her efforts on this project.  Trinity also received the "President's Volunteer Service GOLD Award for logging over 500 volunteer hours in 2020. Trinity lives in Amarillo with her husband Buddy, her Mother, Mother in Law,  4 dogs and 10 beautiful chickens. She is an organic gardener and loves to share her eggs and veggies with friends.

Amber White

Amber owns multiple businesses in Amarillo and Lubbock. 

 

Her most recent venture, the Amarillo Community Network, is a resource for our business and nonprofit community. Providing necessary products and advertising at affordable prices. All the offered products are used as a fundraiser for partnered nonprofit organizations.

 

As the membership chair of the Amarillo Business Women, she plans to use her organizational skills and experience in recruiting to grow our memberships. 

 

Amber has been married to her husband, Devin, for 11 years with 2 girls ages 2 and 8. She enjoys spending quiet evenings at home with her family.
